This entire time I thought that was a puck in his mouth..

Not to sound like a complete dick but I think you're just setting yourself up for embarrassment. I doubt that many people will show up and I don't think rallying will effect anything. I hope I'm proven wrong though.

Tampa Bay perhaps?

I was at the statue of liberty.

That was an awkward press conference.

so siked now. cause my kovy xmas jersey is still good for a few 17 more seasons
fixed

Good for him.

Think Lou could get Belanger at tis point for 1 year? Third line would be Rolston-Belanger-Clarkson. Doesn't look terrible to me. I'd also consider Morrison for 1 year to center that line as long as he's signed for cheap.
-
Is Peter Mueller still available? He'd look nice on the third line.

When people say TG doesn't really muckrake, this is another example that he doesn't mind doing so.
I respect him as a writer and I think that he only does it when there is no news to report.

I asked this question to some friends the other day. I don't think an issue is the cost of Parise. I believe that is covered. But how would this impact Parise himself? Will he be bumped as the face of the franchise? Would he be forced to play as an RW, will he become a 2nd line player behind Kovalchuk? I would imagine this is a slap in the face to some degree.
It would certainly cut into Parise's ice time which could ultimately lower his point total. I don't know how that would work out having two of the best Left wings on the same team. I guess it works out with the penguins with Crosby and Malkin although they're centers. I do know what you mean that this could be taken as a slap in the face to Parise although I doubt he would ever publicly say something like that.

If the Devils commit financially to Kovalchuk with the kind of money he is apparently seeking, there might not be enough salary cap space to sign Parise to a long-term extension. Parise, who will turn 26 on July 28, is scheduled to become a restricted free agent next summer and is two years away from unrestricted free agency.
“I’m not thinking about that too much,” he told me today. “Right now, it’s more to the point of what’s going to help us win next year and the year after. A guy like (Kovalchuk) will help us. I guess we’ll see what happens after that.”
This isn't news to us we all know that signing Kovalchuk could come at a price. Personally if I had to chose between the two I would take Parise.

I think we should concentrate more on getting an offensive defenseman.
-
The way I see it, if he really had the skill he'd be in the NHL by now.
-
I remember how much heat Par would take for his posts when he first started, definitely well deserved.
-
According to the "How Illya Kovalchuk ruined my life" article, maybe the Kings will. CMON Jack Johnson!
-
it's true, I don't care where he signs I just want him to sign.
-
I have a Karel Rachunek Jersey....not really but I just thought I'd remind people that he played for us.
-
No one.

Elias and Salvador ----> Minnesota.
Burns and Brodziak ----> New Jersey.
-
He's a third liner on his BEST day.
-
Elias is going nowhere. They'd try to get rid of Rolston and then White/Salvador and then whoever else
The key word there is try, who wants Rolston's contract? Even if you ask for nothing in return he still has a 5 million cap hit. We can get rid of Elias easier, as long as he waives his ntc, and get more in return. This isn't me saying I want to get rid of Elias I'm just being realistic. This all has to do with whether or not Kovy signs with us.
-
I would say that as of now Salvador is the most likely to get traded, if we sign Kovalchuk then Elias is probably getting moved.
Frolov to Rangers
in Hell

Good signing by the rags considering that Gaborik was the only Ranger who could consistently find the back of the net. Not that Frolov is consistent but he is capable of scoring goals.
