I think it all depends on why you want to leave. If you feel you need a change and want to get out of the choas that is NJ, NC is a pretty good choice depending on wherey ou want to go. I lived in the Raleigh / Durham area for 5 weeks and its a very cool area. Raleigh can be a fun town and the HBC Center is a great place to see a game, if you can stomach watching the Canes! However, if you want to leave because it's cheaper, don't let that be your number one reason. Yeah, the cost of living may be less but the people there make less money, so it all balances out. My best friend just moved to PA with his wife, after living his entire life in northern NJ and he absolutely hates it, so not every relocation works out for the best! I totally agree with whoever said rent before you buy...that way you make a quick getaway if the area isn't for you!

Good for Leetch...has always been a class act. It was unfortunate that the Rags had to screw him over by sending him to the Leafs after 17 years of faithful service. He could have retired a Ranger but I guess the Rags needed Maxim Kondratiev, Jarkko Immonen and a 1st round pick that badly... Shameful...

I dig the retro look...I've always liked the Wild third jerseys so this isn't much of a departure. As for most people not liking the new designs, that's standard with change...people hate change in most everything, so the new jerseys are no exception. Most of the new jerseys are OK but nothing so far has been thrilling. We'll all get used to the new designs but I'm waiting for one to really surpass the original.

I think it's funny that even though she'll be getting free water for years, got a quick response from the city and got a little press from the whole deal, she's still complaining about her dopey "rock garden". Some people are never satisfied. As for the owners of the leaky sprinklers, the city may have a hard time collecting. It was an error by the city in his favor...not his fault the city screwed up!

I think the idea is for the jerseys to be more "form fitting" and modern looking. They are also supposed to be easier to move in, allow the players to move quicker, keep the players cooler, etc etc. Supposedly, Reebok took a great deal of input from the players when designing these new jerseys, so while they ay look odd to us, they are supposed to be easier to play in. I'll never know because I would never spend $250 for an authentic jersey to play pickup hockey in...

Not a bad design at all...I kinda like the retro look to it. The Vancouver above the emblem is pretty bad, however...the font is too blocky. Something more modern would be more appropriate...mixing old school coloring with new school lettering. At least they don't have the numbers on the front like Buffalo...
