The fact that the logo and colors remain unchanged was widely reported. I am optimistic, but we're not out of the woods yet until we see the piping/striping and name/number font and design.

This has been confirmed for a couple of months now. No thirds next year league-wide, the Devils are the one team in line for a change to its primaries. Rumors are that it is a jersey change and the logo will remain intact. Fearing the worst, hoping for the best.

How can you be so sure? I like it a lot. I have gotten all of them so far, and have even bought two of a couple that I would frame some day. Tonight's joins that exclusive company. With some of the restrictions that I assume are in place, having to produce 2 for games against the same opponent in a 5 day span seems like an impossible task. All things considered, I think you knocked them out of the park.

None. I have a telescoping plastic one that is the perfect size so I have brought it to the last couple of games with no issue.

I agree with everyone else who has seen it: MITB did a fantastic job. I strongly encourage everyone here to make whatever donation you can to the site, if only because it makes sense that everyone who enjoys this community share a little bit of the burden of keeping the lights on. Now that donation comes with a terrific bonus. These could easily go on eBay and net Martyisth3b3st a nice profit. Great gesture by him to use his powers for good instead.

I mentioned that the email only referred to the commemorative ticket in response to a question about whether it mentioned the banner and print. I fully expect the mini banner to be handed out, as well. Not sure about the print.

Also, sure enough, one set of retirement banners is gone and they've been moved to the defend twice end (appropriate). The division and conference banners are now on the bench side.

Unless I missed a different email, the one that I think you're referring to promises a commemorative ticket, that can be framed with the game program. It doesn't mention a print or mini banner.

This is silly, but they are not exactly the same. They are missing the stray white notch on the lower right side of the outer red ring. It drove me crazy that the notch was there on the first three. It will now drive me crazy that there is not one.

I don't get the use of 1990. I know that was his draft year and the year he technically joined the organization (like Daneyko) but it seems dopey to me. I would rather that they all list the years of the first and last NHL regular season or playoff games for the NJ Devils. I was hoping that they would splurge and redo the years/fonts to have all four be correct, have only 1 of each and put them down on the end on either side of the Cup banners (Daneyko Stevens 95 00 03 Niedermayer Brodeur). I obviously didn't have my hopes up.

Definitely. I have avoided it in the past. I just figured I'd take one shot at a Marty now that his playing days with the Devils are over. I'm never going to actually buy one of his jerseys.

Thanks, DevsMan84. I saw that Barry mentioned some people who weren't able to attend not wanting to know the results, but it wasn't like MGG itself was asking people not to talk about it. I figured it was fair game to ask because everyone talking about it here attended the Expo. Disappointed that I won't be opening up the grand prize but still excited to see what shows up at my door.

They give rookies funky numbers (Bobby Ryan: 54, Corey Perry: 61, Ryan Getzlaf: 51, Kyle Palmieri: 51) and make them show that that they belong and have to earn more traditional numbers (Ryan: 9, Perry: 10, Getzlaf: 15, Palmieri: 21).
