He's not my buddy - but you've made it known how you feel. Colin - good luck over here!
  2. I've posted a link on twitter and on the FB tickets page. Looking forward to having you guys at the games again.

Well, the Devils are listening to what you're saying. I can't make any promises or guarantees about a new intro, but they've made it clear that they hear you! I've asked you to PM me and I'll gladly explain why I have that there. I don't have any personal agenda I can assure you that. And if you know me from hf, why would you drag that over here and not confront me on there?

There are a few generals who have AT&T and have brought up the issue - we can bring it up to them and see what happens.

If you have a problem, how about you PM me so we don't derail this thread.

We are all allowed to have our own personal opinions - and I'm sure since they know I'm on HF they've seen it. It also had meaning earlier on in the season and I haven't changed it. Just like I rant on my own personal twitter account about things I don't like - they don't have a problem with that. But go ahead and tweet away if you think it's a big deal. How about we make a deal - when Devils fans stop chanting "Rangers Suck" at games we're not playing them - I'll remove my tag line on HF.

Things aren't going to happen that quickly, but it will certainly be passed along. But this isn't just about Yanni/Hell's Bells and what music you like/don't like. This is a way for fans to have their voices heard with the organization. If there is something that you want, we will certainly do our best to convey this to the organization, but we need input from you (other than music issues).

I understand that a lot of you are into Heavy Metal type music, but they also have to appeal to the children. That is why you get the nonsense that is being played.

I am also one of the Generals, along with Colin, and I know we are both open to ideas - so just let us know and we'll try and pass the info on. For those not willing to give this a chance - someone on one of the other forums posted this and I thought it should be passed along:
  10. Here's the info: http://devils.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=64675
  11. They're supposed to be around the size of the small cups. When we first started getting them it was like taking a shot of soda. They finally got their acts together.
  12. There's a booth downstairs outside the Fire Lounge (closer to the old Verizon Tower), you fill out a form and you get a coupon for a free soda. Later in the game they draw a name from those who signed up and you have a chance of winning a prize pack and a $100 gift cert to Calandra's restaurant. I won a few games ago - can't wait to use my gift cert.
  13. Yeah you can buy prepaid parking passes through the team and then some of the lots will work with you outside of the team and you can get it for cheaper sometimes. I understand where you're coming from, but you also know that this is a possibility every game. It's the Devils and mid-week games are never crowded. Haha - I totally agree with you here. I could understand if I was forwarding the tickets to someone, but if I'm printing them out, why do I have to pay $1.95. At the end of the day, they are also a business. If they are selling discounted tickets and people are still buying concessions, they're still making money at the end of the day. I've heard this a few times and it should happen. There's no reason that the people that sit right next to the people paying $10 ($15)/game should be paying $37, which is the same as people at center ice. It's ridiculous.
  14. If the kids (and adults for that matter) had sharpies - they were signing stuff and no one said anything.
  15. Not sure how true this rumor is, but supposedly they sent out 4000 invites, 2000 people responded and they were only expecting 600 to actually show up. Even if they figured on 10% not showing up that's still 1800 people. Someone screwed up big time and it was a scary sight.
  16. You can park on the street for free in Newark any time after 6pm (in metered spots) or you can park down by the Hell's Kitchen area for free. I've done Stubhub, posted on HF and the FB page and I've done craigslist. I usually put the tickets up there and try and get the $30 for the tickets. When you put in there how much you want to charge, you can see how much you're going to get. Yeah see I didn't like that gift, but I just said it is what it is. As far as pricing, I think they realized it's a problem and hopefully they're working on that problem.
  17. For me being a female, I'd much rather paypal someone money then meet them to exchange tickets. And with that FB page, it's pretty legit and the minute I have someone tell me they didn't get tickets from someone I'd remove them from that group and make sure everyone knew not to buy again. I've never had anyone have issues sending me money through paypal for tickets.
  18. My thoughts on yesterday: First, I want to thank the Devils for allowing us to watch a "closed" practice and for the Meet & Greet. I thought the idea was great and it's always fun to talk to the guys, shake their hand, etc. So, a big thank you to the organization. Now, to the bad part of yesterday - I'm not sure what kind of piss poor planning job was done, but that was TERRIBLE. The practice area was mobbed with people and turned into a standing room only, only have one Lounge open with food was a disaster and not opening the entire concourse for the players created absolute chaos. Add on top of that people standing in line waiting to meet their favorite player, only to get to the front of the line and be told the player would be back in 20 minutes. At that point, some of the "security" personnel with the players told some people that the player wouldn't be coming back to the same spot, others did not and that left quite a few pissed off people (especially those in Marty's line). I think yesterday could have been handled a lot better and some people think it got better as the day went on, but I disagree. I thought the chaos of the lines and the crowded concourse was just a complete cluster****! And here's my other beef - if you want to put a "no autograph policy" out there - ADHERE TO IT! I thought that they've organized things a lot better, but yesterday was a huge step backwards. One they could have been avoided if they planned properly (rumors make it sound like they DEFINITELY weren't expecting that many people to show up). Now that my semi-rant is over, I want to thank the players for the small talk. Chatting with McKenna, Palmieri, Tedenby, Zharkov, Zajac and Pelley was pretty awesome. They all chatted with a group of us for awhile - and I'm sure people weren't happy about that, but it's a Meet & Greet - and it was fun to talk to them! As far as the parking situation goes - they gave out tickets to those that paid. If you didn't show it when you left, you had to pay the $5. I was the one who had walked downstairs to find out what was going on and then spread the word to everyone else. We waited for 45 minutes to get out of that deck.
  19. Why can't you email the tickets? All 4 tickets in your account can be emailed. The "doubles" just can't be listed on ticket exchange.
  20. I have $15 tickets - and won double your seasons - I've missed only 1 game so far and it's a rare occasion that I miss any. My dad and I have sold most of our games this season, plus sold some of our additional "give away" seats and we've profited over $500...and I don't even sell the Rangers games (since my husband is a Rangers fan) and for most of the season I've only asked for $20 instead of the $30. I'm not complaining at all about all my perks I get. But, I also understand what others are saying, but for me the benefits of guaranteed seats outweighs everything else to me. I just think our fanbase likes to whine and cry about everything no matter how much they're given. And for the person saying we don't get discounts on parking - you most certainly do. The $20 lots are ~$14 for STH. You could also contact some of the lots personally and work out deals with them as we have done. We park right outside the front of the building for ~$13/game (that's a $25 lot). Reading threads like these just make me laugh sometimes, it's one of the reasons on hfboards it's says "I hate our fans" underneath my forum name.
  21. I have more than 1...believe me, you can have it!
  22. I'll be the first to admit I wasn't a huge fan of the chanting and stuff that this group was talking about, but I posted this on another forum: "Yup, I'm eating crow. 2 big thumbs up to the Red Bulls section last night. I thought it was fantastic. If the Supporters section can be like that with the buzz going the ENTIRE game, I can see it spreading around the Rock. The drums definitely helped." I thought that group was great!
  23. You can have mine, I certainly don't want it!
  24. I have tickets for the following 3 games (all in 225, all $30/pair): 1/6/2011 Flyers 2 1/9/2011 Lightning 2 1/20/2011 Penguins 2 Let me know if you want them.
  25. 3 tickets for sale in 225 for tonight's game - $10/ticket. You can paypal me and I can leave them at Will Call or I can add $1.95/ticket to email them to you. Send me an email at letsgodevils2003@yahoo.com if you're interested. Tickets sold!
