I have been saying it and I will say it again, this team needs a scorer and a goon like defenseman. Someone who would knock someone like Avery to the ice when need be.

I gotta comment on Avery's shinanegans last night. However juvenille they were, it was obviously effective. Why did we let this guy stand right in front of Marty? I can bet any amount of money if Scotty, Holik or Peluso was still on this team, Avery would have been knocked on his butt for that. We need our enforcers to protect Marty from things like this from happening. Which leads me to my next question.
Who is our enforcer? Years past, no skater in the NHL would dare to skate right into our zone as they could expect a wack from Stevens or Holik. I really haven't seen anybody step up and start tossing bodies around until only recently. That will be the key to the rest of this series I feel. We gotta start shoving back, harder than the rags do and keep attacking the puck to create opportunities for some one like Elias or Parise to score.
Hey, maybe I am not making any valid points or don't know what the heck I'm talking about. All I know is I still have visions of Lindros getting slammed to the ice by Stevens and would love to see a blue shirt get pulverised in the same manner. Maybe then Avery will think twice about poking someone int the face with his stick or waving his hands in the air in front of Marty.

I might be in the minority, but I think, if done correctly, a third Dev's jersey, with black as the dominant color, could look pretty sweet.

I hope the Devils treat this as a must win game. Rags are on our tail and I'd rather have better seed for the playoffs.

That's good to know. I have no problem waiting on line for a few hours on a weekend before a playoff game for cheap tickets.

I guess will go to the bar before the game for some Blue Moon. I wuld like to know why they removed the Blue Moon stands though.

I agree with the earlier thread. I think this team will be fine. No need to fire Lou or Sutter. I still think we need a proven goal scorer to take the pressure off Elias and Parise though.

When I was at the Devs/Isles game last week I noticed that too. I even went to the booth that used to have it, but the lady that was manning the stand claims it was never there. I looked on the upper concourse for another place, but failed to locate one. I was told they have Blue Moon at the Goal bar though.

Sitting Marty against a physical team like the Rangers would be a huge mistake. I doubt Weekes can do much in the net any team unless the d picks up it's game.

I don't think it matters if its Marty or Weekes in the net. If the defense allows other teams to swarm around the net their gonna score. As great as Marty is, he can't stop every shot.

I was at the signing. I got there at 10:30. At first there wasn't a line, so I hung out by the shoe section. The line formed there around 12:30 and we were kicked outside around 2. I was in the first 15 people so I got to go inside around 4:30 and he was siging by 4:55pm. I was thrilled to meet him and get to shake his hand. He only signed the picture postcard the store provided, but I'm not complaining.
No, the store doesn't have the old Green, Red amd White jerseys. Really, the store lacks Devils in my opinon. They have some things, just not as much as I expected.

You could also try to write to the players in the mail asking for their autographs. I just got Mike Peluso to sign a puck for me through the mail.

I'll be there by 12. It should be a lot of people there. Not enough Devils gear in my opinon. I went to Paragon over on 18th st in Manhattan yesterday and fould more Devils gear there. Picked up a Brodeur Player T and black Devils cap.

I would love to have Hossa, but I would rather get some scoring and a heavy hitter on the team first.
