  1. This also could become quite messy too if they get to the point that they suspend him without pay..
  2. Just to throw my two cents in here but this isnt even remotely political for me either, I know it's become political for a lot of people but I might be the only American on these boards that isn't registered to any party(I still vote just refuse to sign up for any party) so I don't have any skin in that game like a lot of others do. My outlook is that community events should be only attended for those in the community who are doing what's best for others in they community and themselves. It's been the biggest thing I've been pushing with the Devils front office staff. Ticket sales for the home opener have been quite meh so looks like there are a lot of others who feel similar in terms of not wanting to attend games. I'm really much more curious about the games after the home opener cause the home opener always has a larger crowd anyway. The front office better really hope they don't come out and sh!t the bed with an awful start.
  3. I wanna say it's surprising but it's not, especially with how this front office has handled things on the arena front for fans. It is mbarrassing though.
  4. The arena did have this happen during that game, geez idk, a decade ago now? Did Lou pull the plug that night too? Lol
  5. So you're saying Lou paid someone to pull the plug cause of Blackwood, interesting lol
  6. Unless he went and pulled the plug on the power grid somewhere, then no lol
  7. Hahaha I'm so happy I didn't have to be at this sh!t show. Our front office staff has been an embarrassment for awhile now, might as well get the arena in on that too now.

  9. I didn't hate the final season as much as most people, I had some issues with it but I also waited until the final season to watch the entire show so I wasn't waiting years for an ending so that probably factors into it too. This looks great though, looking forward to it.
  10. They showed a graphic that said shootout and apparently had one but they didn't show it, absolute bush league showing by whoever is in charge. Guys played well though, nice to see the powerplay clicking.
  11. Just put me on ignore and move on already. You're the biggest fvcking moron to ever grace these boards. A good part of the reason that HF has some of the good posters who left here long ago and why this place has the same 15-20 of us who actually still post here. I asked @DevilMinderto look into upgrading the website so the block feature actually works properly because I actually have gotten messages from others talking about how annoying your dumb ass is. I'll gladly chip in some money to never have to interact with you again and I know others will as well. Ignore is absolutely sh!t here because even though I have you on it I still have to see all your posts quoted and you can see mine so it's absolutely pointless unless we both put each other on ignore. I post a comment that's absolutely relating to our GM and team and summing up his words and you have to go yet another one of your dumb tangents. I'm 100% done with ever interacting with you again, so go ahead and have the final last word because as you have shown every damn year it kills you otherwise. F*ck off.
  12. Well this is directly related to the Devils, if you actually listen to it, it does sound like Fitz is annoyed by the whole situation. Not giving any other of my opinions in here but I summed up what Fitz had to say about the situation... 28:50 mark for the Blackwood discussion. Fitz said Blackwood was actually in the chair to get the shot and he got up and left. Fitz said he doesn't wanna hear anything from the other players that Blackwood might be getting it soon and that they had good talks with him, Fitz just wants to hear when he does get it. Asking players to not go out to dinner or anything with Blackwood cause that would be breaking protocols for them too. He needs the players to police themselves. Blackwood has to sit in a different locker room, has to sit by himself on the bus. Fitz said they would all have to wear masks on long road trips and they got the shot to not have to wear masks. Also said there were other players on the team that were hesitant but did end up getting it.
  13. In other news, Robin Lehner has not posted on Twitter since going off on the league on Saturday night despite claiming he was gonna drop truth tweets the next day if things don't get fixed. Maybe the league cleaned up everything really quickly lol.
  14. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/oilers-josh-archibald-indefinitely-heart-condition/ "Archibald has not been healthy enough to skate with his teammates here, despite daily negative COVID-19 tests. After doing blood work, the Oilers doctors found that Archibald — who has posted on social media against getting vaccinated — had contracted COVID-19 at some point. Archibald was the last player on a Canadian NHL team to remain unvaccinated, which would have been very problematic had the Oilers planned to keep him in their lineup. Every time the team crossed the U.S. border and then returned to Canada — 13 times this season — Archibald would have been forced to quarantine for 14 days, away from his team and teammates."
