  1. I'd rather they trade Clem than have him in the minors the rest of the season. It's not fair to him and we could get somethin in return too.
  2. 5... 10/10 (NYI, W, opener) 10/22 (DAL, W) 11/12 (NYR, L) 12/21 (PHI, W) 1/8 (ATL, L) got 2 more coming 3-2 so far
  3. Put Rolston up with Elias and Gio. Move Zubrus down with Holik and Rupp. Clackson plays with Madden and Shannahan. ZZPop
  4. Exactly what I thought when I got this in the mail.
  5. http://devils.nhl.com/team/app/?service=pa...layerId=8451302 I dont know if anyone cares, but Shanahan is listed as #18.
  6. Elias Rolston Gionta Parise Zajac Shanahan Pandolfo Madden Langenbrunner Zubrus Holik Clarkson I'm liking these lines.
  7. this should have happened a long time ago
  8. He's gonna go right back on the top line with Elias and Gio. Once everyone gets back from their injuries the lines will probably be the same as opening night.
  9. Langs is all-around player, his job isn't to just score goals. The only thing that he has been doing so far that is disappointing is that he has uncharacteristicly taken a lot of pentalties, but that will stop. He's too experienced and discipline for it to not. Also, Jaimie must be some kind of leader or he would have never been named captain. Stripping him of the C would only serve to create more hard feelings in the locker room and unneeded press attention. Plus, we all remember how bad the team was last year when him and White missed the beginning of the year.
  10. My opinion exactly. Plus even if he is horrible, he'll just get hurt in week.

    nvm

You guys gotta settle down. Its like if someone isnt on pace to score 40 goals, they're a bum. We're 15 games into the year. Elias wil be fine, Langenbrunner will be fine, Gionta will be fine. Have some kind of patience, please.
  12. The Devs need to do something to let everyone know (including the team) that they still think that they can be successful without Brodeur for 3-4 months. Shannahan works, and he can still put up some numbers for a low salary.
  13. Before Holik gets back: Elias-Rolston-Gionta Parise-Zajac-Langenbrunner Pandolfo-Madden-Vrana Zubrus-Rupp-Clarkson Extra:Halischuck, Bergfors After Holik gets back: Elias-Rolston-Gionta Parise-Zajac-Langenbrunner Pandolfo-Madden-Clarkson Zubrus-Holik-Rupp Extras:Vrana, Bergfors I realize that these are the exact same lines that the season started with.
  14. Huge win. Weekes was preety good in regulation, but was extremely clutch in the shootout, and that can be a statement for him and the entire team.
  15. Tomorrow's game is now huge and can set a tone for the rest of the season. I realize it is against TB, but if they win and Weekes shuts down the Lightning, then the team will be very optimistic. If they lose, and Weekes doesn't impress, then the opposite will happen. Gotta win tomorrow.
  16. The hockey gods just don't like us this year.
  17. The entire Lowell team is gonna be up here before long.
  18. Shanahan would be a nice addition. He'd fit right in with the rest of the guys, and when Holik and Rolston come back he can take Rupp's spot as a starter (nothing against Rupp). Plus I'm sure someone else will get hurt as the season goes on. The only isue is if we have enough cap room.
  19. Halischuck has the best stats--5goals/3assists/8points
  20. Move the Islanders, Thrashers, Panthers, and Predators to Hamilton, Seattle, Winnipeg, and some other city that could use an NHL team.

    NHL Attendance

I totally agree. I sit in the very top row ($38 seats) almost every game that i go to and they are ten times better than the $65 seats.
