I saw that and decided to rewind a few times to laugh at it. He actually tripped over a players skate (i think parise's) as he was going for a line change himself. Still funny. He came on early anyway.

It's a player like Brylin that I feel the Devils should have some sort of honorary system. I know other teams have them as well. It would be great for him, pando, niedermayer, etc. I always felt a player that left or was traded should be retired.

i've been complaining for a while that we never hit. I don't know who's counting hits for those game stats we see after each period. I'm thinking the players are too worried about putting themselves out of position and getting the scold from Lemaire.

a sympathetic ranger fan has told me prior to this game he thinks kovalchuk is a cancer on this team. If he "just came" here, when are we playing him more than any other forward and pretty much depending solely on him during the power play. I would be MUCH happier with him OFF the point. We all look to pass to him, and the PKer's know to wait for that pass. That's not to say our PP was dreadful before he was on it, but wasn't he supposed to improve it?

Maybe we can trade Kovalchuk before the deadline for some players that can actually score. Anyone else agree that Mottau had one of his best games in months? Only like 3 turn overs that game!

Justin.tv almost always has the games. Yahoo sports is also good but only select games (such as the devils and altanta/colorado tonight)

I would imagine it's 50% off same ticket price...$5 seats? Either way, this is a GREAT deal. Perhaps its an attempt to make fans happy(ier) if they're still crying about the lightning game tickets.

lol that was awesome. During the Lowell-Hartford game at the prudential center I thought Davison was the best defenseman out there. He (as well as Sestito and Swift) impressed me the most.

clean hit. The hit was pretty much the same time as the shot. Carter was coming down from the middle and went to try to take Salmela out of the play so he couldn't get a shot off. If Stevens made that hit everyone would be praising it. It was a shoulder to shoulder. The speed of it as well as a rising shoulder is what knocked Salmela into the air and he just unfortunately landed on his face. No elbow, no hit to the head.
