Just found this thread and I think it is great for opening night. I will would like to join with my crew (5 of us). We'll probably bail early since we got club seats that come with a buffet.

I think the point is moot anyway. They couldn't talk about hockey if they wanted to. Besides their talk about listeners they talk about their own interests. I have Sirius and would never imagine listening the Fan over NHL Home Ice.

I hit Brick City before every game. I hope they'll be open. BTW, Brick City would be a cool name for the area of Championship Park w/ the purchased bricks. Edit to left justify.

Neither me nor any of my friends fit comfortably upstairs. For a brand new arena that was advertised as the most modern arena designed by taking the best features from all other arenas...it's very surprising. -
Sutter mentioned family, ranch, farm, and Rebels. But now he is still a head coach. I would feel bad only if he did not sign with Calgary. Seems like his mom will be fine. Slippery Sutter.

The seats are too small upstairs. That's the only complaint I have of the Rock. But it is bad since that's what you do there...sit. I know a couple who gave back their season tix last season because the couldn't fit in their seats comfortably. I'm 6'2" and my knees get sore after a few minutes at any game I sit in the upper bowl.

I'm in Oakland and jump on 287 north to Palisades center mall. They have ice time at that rink for stick time. I go alone when I'm not playing if anyone wants to meet up.
