Kovy can't sign or be traded until July 1st. We can agree to a deal with both Kovy and team X before but can't make it official till July 1st.

Last season this young Caps fan who was maybe 15 was legitimately bullying this older guy who was probably in his mid 50's and had attended the game alone. After three periods of harassing this poor guy who had kept silent he had enough and just delivered a haymaker to shut the kid up. His friends didn't come to his aid and they went on crying to security.

I think the rule for UFA's is you need to be signed before the trade deadline to be eligible for the playoffs. I think Ottawa signed Gomez after the deadline but he wasn't eligible to be placed on the playoff roster.
