  1. You took what I said and reversed it. Having a Stubban doesn't make you a contender, but you can't win a Cup or contend for one without a d-man like him.
  2. You can't win a Cup or even be a contender without a player like Subban. Everyone please remember that.
  3. I think that management should sports bet on the Devs to finish 30 and THEN tank the team. They seem more concerned about teaching our kids the ions and outs of sports betting than hockey.
  4. I fixed the topic title.. and wow... we'll be seeing Lou at Panera alot again.

  6. The NHL suspended Boston Bruins winger Brad Marchand five games for his elbow on New Jersey Devils winger Marcus Johansson in Boston's 3-2 win Tuesday, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announcedWednesday. In the video explaining its decision, the NHL said Marchand's elbow to the head of Johansson was "not a defensive maneuver" and that during the course of the play he "lunges both up and into Johansson, while swinging his elbow forward through Johansson's head." http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2755840-brad-marchand-suspended-5-games-for-hit-to-head-of-marcus-johansson Here's the NHL Video Explanation
  7. He just Sydney Crsoby'd the Red Wings in overtime... lmao
  8. I think they are hoping he will learn under Andy Greene and eventually be his replacement.
  9. I hope they can,... Miles Wood looks to be on a similar course to Gelinas - Mad skills, small brain, flashes of brilliance and many frustrating & boneheaded moments.

  13. Has anyone ever heard of this before? Marian Hossa Reportedly Could Retire over Equipment Allergy, out for Next Season Chicago Blackhawks veteran forward Marian Hossa's career may be in jeopardy due to an allergy to his equipment, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reported Wednesday. Hossa has reportedly been on medication to neutralize the allergy, but doctors have long-term concerns about his health if he continues to take it, which could lead to his retirement. The Blackhawks later confirmed Hossa will not play next season as he deals with the allergy. Hossa issued a statement in the team release which reads in part: Chicago Blackhawks veteran forward Marian Hossa's career may be in jeopardy due to an allergy to his equipment, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reported Wednesday. As to that point, the Devils potentially trading down from the No. 1 pick, my sense is that is only a remote possibility. Yet if Shero does get a great offer – or makes one – which can improve the Devils immediately and also keep them higher up in the draft, I don’t think it’s such a crazy idea. Remember, the Devils have plenty of cap space. That, the first overall pick, the potential of Ilya Kovalchuk wanting to return to the NHL (and potentially netting the Devils assets in a sign-and-trade) and cap space makes the Devils potentially the most flexible team entering the draft. 6. Great Nico Hischier anecdote out of his interview with the Devils, courtesy of NHL.com’s great Devils’ reporter Mike Morreale. Per Morreale, Hischier was interviewing with Dr. Aimee Kimball, the Devils director of team and player development who handled most of the prospect questioning when he was told by the good doctor that when he attends Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final in Nashville on Monday, if he throws a catfish on the ice, the Devils would take him first. Hischier did not give an immediate response, instead answering the rest of Kimball’s questions. As the interview concluded, Kimball asked Hischier if he had any questions for her. He immediately quipped, “Where can I buy a catfish?” Not quite sure where sense of humor fits on the player evaluation scorecard, but Hischier certainly has one.
