And Kane is 5’10 btw for everyone that’s worried about Hughes’ size. Hughes himself was talking about how he will get bigger and stronger when they were interviewing him before the drawing. Which is true. Look at the difference in Nico from year one to year two.
I also love that he said he definitely wants to play center.
The kid is 17 still. 5 10 165 is a pretty good size at that age

I have two tickets in section 5 row 18 for the game against The Habs
asking 90 for both

Someone has to get fired. Not saying Hynes or Shero but some kind of coach needs to be let go

If I were to buy a blank jersey where would you recommend to send it to get lettering

I wouldn't mind taken a look at ROR or Parayko

The St. Louis Blues have informed teams that all players are available, including Vladimir Tarasenko, per Jeremy Rutherford.

I wonder if a swap for Cory and Jake Allen could work out. Maybe a change of places could work

I'm done watching now. NJ doesn't APPEAR active so I'll check back in a couple days instead of refreshing every 30 min like I have been. Then sh!t will probably start happening.
Yeah it's pretty annoying. We better hope Hall has another MVP year again

JVR just doesn't strike me as the type of guy I'd want to overpay for, I think Ray would feel the same way. On a reasonable contract he'd be a nice addition, but there's a reason Toronto is letting him walk - they have young forwards who are due sizable raises over the next few years, a situation that we'll (hopefully) be in ourselves eventually.
Because there is a chance Toronto can get JT.

Yeah but there's a good in between where you actually win something so the cap trouble was worth it. Being in good position with the cap and not winning sh!t is not any better lol
Rather spend the 8 million some way else.

Carlson re-signing with the Caps. 8x8.
Disappointing.
Fine with me. That's a lot of money to dish out and will kill us in cap in the later years

Why are we giving up on a player that scores 50 points a season? We have enough scoring problems

I also don't want The Devils to go out spending every dime they have. They need keep building through the draft and trades. For example The Jets

Hall NIco Palmieri
Jahansson Tavares Bratt
Those are 2 very dangerous lines for any team to deal with. If you don't like Bratt there then maybe McLeod instead
If Tavares signs here expect McLeod to be shipped out for d.

I have a funny feeling The Rangers will go hard for JT

After looking at Bratt's numbers I'm even less impressed. He got off to a fast start but hit the wall early and Butcher has essentially the same points total.
Good progress overall but I think the huge majority of that progress was Hall carrying this team on his back .
The goalie question mark can be a huge problem moving forward next year.
I can't complain. Bratt is a 6 round pick who made it an NHL roster and has good skills. Butcher is tied down with Lovejoy and is not seeing as much PP time with the Sami

Not to be argumentative but who's the ton of young talent outside of Nico, and maybe Bratt who's sh!t the bed for a while now. Butcher and his one goal is what 50?. Are they a sh!t ton better than the last few years, yes Hall makes them significantly better by himself. I think they are probably looking at a goalie issue that was certainly not a top priority or concern going into this season.
Young talent: Nico, Bratt, Boqvist, Butcher, McLeod, Anderson

How long should a rebuild take ? Haven't we gone long enough ?
This team was such a mess and in 5 years is in a middle of a playoff run and has more than 20 mill in cap space next year. People need to calm down my god

You are looking at a team that belongs in the playoffs and a team that simply does not.

I'm glad they signed him. I was nervous The Devils might reach out
