I listen to Boomer and Carton on the way to work, and yesterday Craig Carton refused to say a good thing about the game (which he didn't watch). Boomer Esiason, who's actually a pretty big hockey fan, was butting heads with him the whole time, but Carton kept going on about how the game was meaningless so it was nothing to get excited about. He adamantly refused to pay any mind to how good of a game it was or the meaning of going into Canada and beating the Canadians at their national pastime on the world stage. He's right in that its meaning is diminished by the fact that it wasn't during the actual tournament, but he also flat out ignored everything good about it.
Of course, Carton is the type of radio host who will say things for the sake of riling people up and getting colorful calls ... you know, "good radio" ... so I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

As a long time center ice and extra innings sub,i renewed my CI package 3 days ago.I called and complained this am at 8:00.I told them i thought hockey coverage and the CI package was going backwards instead of forward.........and then was issued a $200 credit towards my account without anything in the way of haggling.
