  1. Now why would I want to date him? No thanks, one nutcase is enough for me now...I don't need Danton too...
  2. From what I heard, he was waived...
  3. Jeffer Dantson!!! This thread has gone completely off topic ....hehehehehe
  4. I thought Quint came from the Yotes...
  5. What could he change his name to this time though? Mike Frost? ........That's just weird....... OJ Danton! AAAAAAH!
  6. I doubt that'll be a scenario he'd have to deal with....

    Canucks Lose

    Grr...beat me to it Sarge....
  8. Why couldn't Danton shut his big mouth earlier?
  9. One user has this to say: Good for Mike. I don't blame him for not showing up to the minors especially after the ignorant comments by Lamoriello. Some guys you just can't play for and life is just miserable for the team never mind himself. There are plenty of other examples of this in the past. GM Clarke and Lindros to name one. Keep holding out Mike and things will take a turn for the better. Yeaaaaaaah.....
  10. Yeah Chico went on about that for a good five minutes in the begining of the game...
  11. Many of those trades weren't made in the past year...
  12. I swear, we could make an entire forum dedicated to Mike Danton stories.
  13. Okay...he's 1-3 then, so he can't cook and clean..but he can bring home the money, remember? Okay...so maybe Danton is 0-3...
  14. Topic is about attendance, not politics...
  15. Oh yes, you've figured me out. It would be a dream come true to go out with a guy like Mike Danton. Man, you can see right through me, can't you? *sigh* Excuse me while I puke now.
  16. I think the headline was "Professional athlete seeking relationship" or something to that degree...
  17. Probably the best line was "I can cook, clean, and bring home the money". He wanted someone who lived within 50 miles of West Orange, a non-smoker aged 18-30 (I believe), that speaks any language/any hair color/any nationality/any religion. Uhhm, it said he doesn't like many animals, he's a social drinker, he has a good sense of humor, he's honest/caring/trust worthy...uhh....damnit I can't remember anymore...Uhh...he wanted someone who could make him laugh (sarcasitc sense of humor)....uhh...I forget now...
  18. According to TSN.ca: Flames fire Gilbert tsn.ca Staff 12/3/2002 Sources have told TSN that the Calgary Flames have decided to fire Greg Gilbert. The Flames have had an abysmal first quarter under Gilbert this season, going 6-13-3-3 in their first 25 games. They are also 1-10-0-1 in their last 12 games and have been outscored 39-14 during that span. Gilbert was named head coach of the Flames on March 14, 2001, replacing Don Hay behind the bench. He guided the Flames to a 4-8-2 record for the remainder of the season, and led the team to a 32-38-12 record in the 2001-2002 campaign. Gilbert originally joined the Flames as an assistant coach for in 2000. Before joining the Flames, Gilbert spent four seasons behind the St. Louis Blues' American Hockey League affiliate in Worcester, Massachusetts. He began coaching immediately following a 15-year NHL playing career with the NY Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks, NY Rangers and St. Louis Blues. 19. I think it's pretty much been recognized by the NHL that attendance is a problem for not only New Jersey, but many teams. If the NHL hasn't noticed it, then us Devils fans have definitely noticed it as a league-wide problem, because we've been discussing it for a while now.
  20. correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't we win a cup in 2000? No, we didn't. That's just what they want you to believe. See, the Devils actually never won the Cup - we suck so badly that we've never even made the playoffs either. It's merely a conspiracy, the idea that we won in 2000. You wanna know who really won the Cup? The Blue Jackets did...granted, they weren't even in the NHL yet, but they still won it. Crazy world, isn't it?
  21. According to Yahoo! Sports: Panthers LW Worrell gets jail term for DUI December 3, 2002 FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida Panthers left wing Peter Worrell received a 10-day jail sentence, one year of probation and a five-year suspension of his driver's license after pleading no contest to driving under the influence. Broward County Judge Joel Lazarus issued the penalties Monday, ordering Worrell to report to jail on April 7, 2003, one day after the Panthers' regular-season finale. Worrell was arrested June 16 and charged with DUI property damage, leaving the scene of an accident, and criminal mischief. He also received traffic citations for failing to use due care, expired tags, and no proof of insurance. Worrell was not available for comment Monday. ``He's a fine person and a good guy in the community,'' Panthers general manager Rick Dudley said. ``He made a mistake and I do think he's learned from it.'' Worrell was convicted in 1998 of DUI and lost his license for six months, attended a DUI school, and performed 50 hours of community service. Worrell has one goal and a team-high 62 penalty minutes for the Panthers this season. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news/ap/200212...rs-worrell.html
  22. That's just wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong WRONG. Who would go out with him anyways? I'm sure Frost would have to come along on the date...probably to brainwash the girl as well...AAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Stop trading, period. This team is winning. This team is playing well. The right players are contributing. The chemistry is really starting to flow. Had the Devils lost every game on the road trip, and three more before that, then a trade would look good right about now. If it aint broke, don't fix it. This team is playing well, and the goals are coming at the right times. Danton needs to go, and that is all.

    What The F?

Blah, it's the three stars of the game, selected by the media in stands. You know they're going to pick anyone on the opposing team before a rightful Devil. I'm sure if they could, they'd put Cechmanek over Brodeur. St. Jacques had a good game, however, but Gionta deserved it over him. Still...it's the media...and the media is never nice to the Devils. I'd take the win over being named a star of the game anyways, though. No harm, NHL.com named Gionta the second star of the game
