I beg to differ with you. Cory signed the extension in the off season before last season. Lou was GM with no thought of leaving. Lou was about winning. He didn't know that Lou would be ousted broom sweep clean and a full rebuild for the Devils. He never expected all this and could have never felt the Devils would be bad for sometime. As for being on board what else can he say or should say. He is a top goalie and knows he deserves better but I think he will wait two full seasons.

Schneider is by far the best player on the Devils, last season and hopefully this coming season. Great player wrong team. If I were him I be saying Devils you have two seasons or you trade me.

How can he look like a competent player if he is not a smart player, not fast player, doesn't have exceptional shot but is big and strong but that's not enough?

I just hope Elias has a great season 15/16 and he does what he wants to do in the end.

It's all good give them credit for giving Lou a chance to improve the on ice product but that didn't happen so we have what we have and it's all positive for me. The proof is that NEW Devils Season Tickets have grown and the stand at #5 in the NHL.right now for growth. I hope the on ice product improves to a competitive team by 2017/18, that's two full season to rebuild.
