soulartist23
I'm glad Hamilton didn't get chosen by the Flyers. I didn't want to hate him. Also, I'm kinda surprised at Murphy not being chosen yet. I know he's small and all and one dimensional, but his skills sorta make up for his weaknesses.

Z-Man
No way the Devils would have put up a comparable package for Burns. SJ gave up WAY too much. Setoguchi is probably pissed after just re-signing with San Jose: "I couldn't be happier right now," Setoguchi said on a conference call. "San Jose is such a great place to play. The organization is great. The team is top-notch. All the way through, it's the best place to play in the National Hockey League." ghdi
I remember at the beginning of the year we were talking about this guy coming as a pipe dream. I think he'll be great, but gotta get him on the ice. This however http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2011/06/24/2011-draft-profile-adam-larsson/ You cannot be anything but excited reading that. Amberite
Unbelievable that we just landed Larsson. I have a feeling a lot of you don't realize this guy's potential. If everything pans out, our defense in two years: Tallinder / Larsson Volchenkov / White Merill / Fayne / Urbom That's a hell of a defense. Where is Manta with our lack of depth again? The only thing that went wrong about this draft is Philly landing Cotourier. I have no idea how he managed to fall to 8th. My concern is that in 2 years we are looking for goaltending. I'll bet Lou feels he's on the clock for one more run before Marty's done - there has to be another move on the D before Larsson is ready. With our offensive and defensive lines shaping up the way they are, we'd be more than fine with a $3-4M goalie who is good, but not necessarily elite. DevilNurn
I'm just so satisfied with this draft! I really hope that he pans out the same way our last top-4 defenseman pick .
newjerseydamo
Tallinder / Larsson Volchenkov / White Merill / Fayne / Urbom i'd be disappointed if White was still here once he is UFA. unfortunately it's time for him to move on. drop his salary, and pick use it to pick up a better D man.
