Newark, NJ – The Devils today introduced Peter DeBoer as their new head coach. The announcement was made by Devils’ President/CEO/General Manager Lou Lamoriello.

“Peter DeBoer is an individual who I have watched coach over the past two decades at the junior, international, and professional levels. His teams have always been well-prepared and disciplined, while maximizing their effort each and every night.” said Lamoriello. “I am looking forward to working with him.”

alright its now done, next... im expecting an announcement of Zach re-signing tomorrow at the latest... enough with that bullsh!t now lol

I'm so glad Lou has more patience than some of us.

The last thing I want him doing is signing ZP to a contract first, putting us in a tight cap debacle with numbers made public - and having the rest of the league hold us hostage by trades because of the $$$. Right now LL has the slight advantage of knowing the $$$.

Trade first - make room - then announce the ZP deal.

Don't give up your leverage just so all the NJ message boards can brief a sigh of relief.
