Buccigross just tweeted it's Rolston for a conditional pick. all over the place with this pick.

i disagree. this makes signing parise at 5/45 or something similar a possibility.

Why would the Devils want to pay an average of 9 million a year for Parise? That would be awful.

Pretty classy move by Brian Rolston as he had to waive his no-trade to do this. Let's remember to be kind to him when he's skating on the fourth line against us at the Rock. :)

I agree 100%

I personally never had an issue with Brian...just his contract!

Tri, I think you've been drinking every time you bring up 5/45. So Lou's gonna make Parise the 2nd highest paid player in the NHL based on per-year salary? Just behind Ovy, and ahead of Crosby? Please.

Stamkos' contract ($7.5 mil avg) is a much better indicator of where his contract will wind up.

No conditional pick included in deal, per TG.. :boogie:

Good, deal value stunk if there was a decent pick involved.

I feel like I did during the Steckel deal, before the pick was announced, people were cheering and I was looking at it going, "the value stinks here" then ultimately the confusion on value is cleared up.
