Devils731
The team asks for their to be no autographs at the event. It's a courtesy to everyone to follow that.

It's actualy up to the players to follow that rule as well. Guys with long lines like Parise, Brodeur and Kovy can't do auto's because it would take to long. Guys with shorter lines usually have no problem signing things.

The players are in a tough spot. They're a jerk if they say no but they shouldn't have to say no in the first place. I mean, I saw a lady getting a stick autographed by, it looked like, everyone. That isn't right. Edited September 27, 2011 by Devils731

The players are in a tough spot. You just know you'd get someone crying about it on some board about this player was a dick and that player was rude. The blame is on the people attending for failure to obey a simple request for everyone's benefit. As a matter of fact, this goes for all Devils STH/public events because there's far too many individuals that like to push the envelope, do what they want and think the rules do not apply to them. This ***** brought a god damn stick and was getting signatures.. Totally pissed me off.. They put "NO AUTOGRAPHS" all over the ticket and kept saying it around the arena so you're literally being a selfish a$$hole by doing that.. Now, I saw a little kid with a Tedenby jersey get it signed and that's the only time I didn't care because who the hell owns a Tedenby jersey already.. Mattias seemed happy just to see someone wearing one.. Still not right, but if I had to pick 1 exception, that would be it

Onddeck
wow this lady sounds obnoxious. the kid is completely understandable because, whatever, its a child. I would really hope everyone obeys that rule because these players just wanna hang out, how awesome is that. pestering them constantly with autographs could make them not want to do this kind of thing anymore
