eldon
On Monday, we got a msg. through our digital cable box that MLB Extra Innings was having a free preview from April 5-11, go to channels 771-780. I thought those channels sounded familiar. Well on our cable box, the NHL & MLB share them. So the whole block of channels 771-780 are free probably until the 11th. Channels 771, 2 & 3 are showing hockey & the rest showing baseball. I checked this out this morning & the schedules are there for both sports. WOOO-HOOO!!!! Rock
Red,, do you have digital cable? With baseball starting up, MLB and Center ice are sharing channels. I know it's usually preview week the first week, but I got baseball games the other night. (No, not just the Yankees and Mets and not that I need to watch Baseball in April if ever.) You'd probably need to get at least the most basic satellite package to get any service at all.
Nieuwy25
Yeah, you'd have to get the basic satellite package. My basic would be around $35/month, but I also have the Sports package (regional sports channels). Center ice is $150 for the year.

The only package that DirecTV allows you to get without any of their basic programming is NFL Sunday Ticket. All other sports packages require their basic monthly service.
