HellOnICE
Never heard of him! but he's a center!
SS-SS
Just saw that. Idk if its really going to help. The most games he played in one season was 48 games with the Ducks. Edited October 26, 2011 by SS-SS
CRASHER
http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/3972 Not highly exciting, but looks like the coach knows him, 3rd/4th line guy I guess??
SterioDesign
i guess with the success Elias Zubs and sykora had last night Lou wants to keep them together and with Henrique playing well he should be centering the 3rd line... this guy could be a good 4th line center id guess

I fell like he have been playing good enough to keep his spot. Edited October 26, 2011 by SS-SS
Triumph
i'm surprised at how much center he's played, i always thought of him as a winger. but i get him confused with drew miller who came up at the same time for anaheim. decent player, seems basically like what rod pelley is supposed to be. seems to be taking up reserve list space though. Risky
Pelley is basically useless at the NHL level (as is our 4th line) so really an upgrade is not a high bar to reach.
Amberite
I really fail to see the point here? If he's better than Pelley or Mills, its not by much, that's for damn sure.
SterioDesign
The guy scored his first career goal against Brodeur then his 2nd in the same game... its kinda like the Boulton effect lol

msweet
He's probably better than Steckel and this probably spells the end of Rod Pelley...finally
Quinn01
He played 62 games for 3 different teams last season and only put up 9 points? As a center? Crap. We'll see. Edited October 26, 2011 by Quinn01

I liked the "phantom right" by Aulie at the end... not. Leafs announcer couldn't be more biased lol

BlueSkirt
seems basically like what rod pelley is supposed to be. I LOL'd at this....Ugh, he was supposed to be the Madden replacement and was for a bit, but then the downhill slide took over. The New Jersey Devils post Kovy...remind me of the AC/DC tune "Down Payment Blues" "I got myself a Cadillac, but I can't afford the gasoline"

Marshall
I'm stoked. He's gonna put up 50/50 for sure.
Triumph
He's not better than Steckel. What he is better than is probably Mills, almost certainly Pelley, and way better than Tim Sestito. If this move means that Sestito doesn't see Newark for the rest of the year, I'm on board. Also, Carter was born in White Bear Lake, which Coen obsessives will recognize from this:
Onddeck
can anyone get a faceoff% for this guy? ..and did those toronto announcers refer Aulie to "Muhommed Ali/ Aulie"?? what a joke

Vic Rattlehead18
Either this is to replace mills who only played good during preseason or for henrique if last night was only a good fluke

Risky
I doubt Henrique is going anywhere. He could have easily had a hat trick last night and the organization is obviously high on him. With us decimated at center and there being a dearth of suitable stop-gap options, Henrique is here to stay and prove himself at least until Zajac returns. With Zajac back, hopefully ZP can slip back to the wing and we can keep AH centering the 3rd line until JJ returns and we have an embarrassment of riches at center. What this team really needs is a skilled forward with a right hand shot to plug in at right wing. Palmieri belongs on the 3rd line at best. He's just dragging Kovalchuk's line down. I was at the game last night. Dude is 3 stride behind the play and does nothing with the puck. Edited October 26, 2011 by Risky
yort44
Carter doesn't look like much of a hockey player.
halfsharkalligatorhalfman
Why not. The fourth line is terrible and it's not worth overpaying in a trade to improve it.
