Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk And he's already (kinda) backtracking. Without exactly saying it, he made it sound like a done deal earlier. Also, Kypreos says Rolston's headed back to Boston. DaneykoIsGod
Gaustad to Nashville per USA Today's Kevin Allen. 4-for-7 (with the Canadian blockbuster being the 7th).

Daniel
Best news all day If he were traded to the Rangers it would have put them out of contention for signing Parise in the offseason.
Aznjsn
Lol all the Isle fans are rejoicing and the Bruins fans are in complete shock. hahahaha
DaneykoIsGod
Good for Mikey Motts, headed home to Boston.
ghdi
If he were traded to the Rangers it would have put them out of contention for signing Parise in the offseason. I dont think they were much of a worry in signing him with/without Nash. Detroit still is.
squishyx
If he were traded to the Rangers it would have put them out of contention for signing Parise in the offseason. Not even remotely worried about Parise signing with the Rangers.
Aznjsn
In typical Rags overpaying fashion.. Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger Don't know details, but indications are NYR made a mammoth offer for Rick Nash today and CBJ declined. #tradecentre

DaneykoIsGod
From what I could see, TFP had Zanon to Boston first.
squishyx
I am..... Well, for what ever reason the Rangers are pretty deft at moving large salary to accommodate new superstars. Having Nash wouldn't keep them from Parise anyway.
Mayday
Oh god what is Boston doing? Rolston isn't horrible and maybe actually decent if on the 3rd/4th line. But Mottau? The guy is not a playoff defensemen. He offers little really. Just imagine Kovalchuk coming down on Mottau...or any other skilled/power forward. Price was to high for Gaustad but Phalsson could of been done. In the end Lou picked of Poni and Zidlciky and we'll have Zajac and Tallinder coming back.
