ATLL765
Bro, if you need tickets to fvck, I'd say you're doing it wrong. I'm not so sure about that. I mean, how much are these fvcking tickets and who does it gain me entry to? lol.
DevsMan84
Burnside already has his predictions up for his series. It is less prediction and more of how great the Flyers are and all that jazz. His paragraph at the end under "Predictions" is golden ESPN

DevsMan84
Nobody is picking us "Experts'" 2012 second-round picks I wouldn't pick us either, but Burnside really went over the top gushing about how the Devils will really get it from the Flyers. At least I respect the other analysts opinions minus Burnside and Linda Cohn, who is only on there for the same reason as why Sherry Ross still does color commentary. ATLL765
Nobody is picking us "Experts'" 2012 second-round picks Basically every person picked the same teams to win, except Burnside thinks the Coyotes will advance and Craig whatever thinks the Kings can top the Blues. I imagine there was a whole lot of arguing in deciding these.......
DevsMan84
Also FWIW, Burnside predicted the Pens in 7 and the Panthers in 7 for the first round. So according to him neither team should be in this series. Also according to his pre-season prediction, the Devils shouldn't be in the playoffs, period. Satans Hockey
I never understood why anyone cares what these people think anyway. There will most likely be a few upsets because there always is. I think the Kings can beat the Blues as well.

I think the Kings can beat the Blues as well. I havent been upset at their preditions in years, but when I see the same predictions against the Devils year after year I just facepalm every time. I mean like I said I doubt we will win this series too, but the way Burnside wrote about us you would think he gave us a game out of some sort of pity. eaglejelly
And look how well they did in the first round!!! http://espn.go.com/n...5/experts-picks I don’t know who James Murphy is, but he got 7 out of 8 right. I guess that is why ESPN didn't let him pick the 2nd round

ATLL765
If you weren't a Devils fan would you pick us? I def wouldn't say we're favored to win, but out the 8 or so people that were making predictions, not one thought we could upset the Flyers? It's not like they killed us in the season series or anything, it was tied, with each team winning 2 on the road or something like that. David Puddy
Is the TV sched for round 2 exclusive coverage? Or will MSG be covering the local market? NBC exclusive, AFAIK. Edit: Yup, from a press release: "The NBC Sports Group’s Stanley Cup Playoff exclusivity begins with the Conference Semifinal round for the first time. Beginning in the second round and continuing through the Stanley Cup Final, all games will air exclusively on either NBC, NBC Sports Network, CNBC or the NHL Network." Ugh and this is where the deal with what was formerly Versus sucks ass. Sorry but I am not shelling out an additional $15-30 a month for one stupid fvcking channel. Off to the bars I go!
