Zubie#8 193
https://twitter.com/CanadiensMTL/status/243035992020365313 John Madden joins the Canadiens’ amateur player recruitment group. A great Devil, the definition of a hockey player.
Devil Dan 56 2,268
Good for him stepping right into another job. Lets begin the traditional listing of our favorite moments.... I'm going with the SHG against Belfour in Game 4 of the 2000 finals, and the hattrick against the Rags in 2006.
DevilMinder 1,255
RIP...Oh wait wrong type of ending. Good luck Mad Dog. Wonder how he held up from that hit by his own teammate?
ThreeCups 19
I will never forget Game 5 of the SCF in 2003 when his face got sliced open by a skate. Came back a few minutes later after getting repairs in the locker room. Legendary stuff....

Revan 12
A real hard worker and a warrior. He deserved that extra Cup he won with the Blackhawks, I'm glad for him. A complete Devil type of player.
Colorado Rockies 1976 6,549
Scary how quickly these careers just fly by. I still remember watching Brodeur's debut on my friend's seen-better-days old 19" CRT TV...still trying to figure out where the time has gone.
The 29th Pick 21
The only Devils jersey I ever bought (with a players name on the back) was Mad-dogs all out hard working player...I wish they all had his heart Too bad there wasn't any room in the Devils organization for him to be with us again...but good luck to him. njdjlc 2
I will never forget Game 5 of the SCF in 2003 when his face got sliced open by a skate. Came back a few minutes later after getting repairs in the locker room. Legendary stuff.... I always loved that moment. Can't forget Game 7 against the Panthers either. After that collision with Kopecky, just stitch him up and throw him back on the ice. Always loved that about him. Good luck maddog! I wish the best for him.
MadDog2020 8,590
One of my all-time favorite Devils, no doubt. He helped inspire my screen name (of course lol). Enjoy retirement Dog!

Devilsfan118 2,956
That hatrick is definitely one of my favorites as well..specifically the 2nd goal that the Rangers d-man put in himself. Just a great Devil. Hope he finds success post-career
GA Devil 2
Another gem not mentioned yet... I forget which playoff year it was, but Madden drew Mario Lemieux's ire when he (Madden) duped Lemieux to pass him the puck by slapping his stick on the ice and calling "Ace." Lemieux was *pissed.* Good sh!t right there.
