Marking forums "as read"

There are forums I don't read and others where I don't read every thread.  Before I leave the site  I mark these forums 'as read'. The main page stayed the same and showed marked as read at the top of the page.   Something has changed.  I could do this from the main forum page quickly.  Now the page goes almost blank followed by a total refresh.  I now have to wait until the task is complete.

Anyone else having this issue?

I've been having an issue with threads being marked as read or not. Basically, none of the threads I read through prior to today, are marked as such. Every thread I open, that I haven't already opened today, opens to post # 1. I don't understand. I click mark forum as read, but then as soon as I hit refresh, it goes back to being marked unread.

Wow!  I assumed I was doing something wrong.  This has been happening to me also.  I read a thread and when I go back to the list of threads some are marked as read and I haven't opened them yet.  Same with having no unread posts in a thread and having the thread still show as unread.

I remember a post about trade deadline stuff and that certain features will be shut off.  I cannot find it anymore.  just like I cannot find the above post:(  Thnx for the reply DM.  I am a dummy.

ETA: that post was from March 12.  Geez, I am really having memory issues.  Ignore what I post. :o
