It's not over but this was an important game, and there are alot of games on our schedule coming up I dont think we can win, carolina/boston type games. If we manage to win some of those maybe we are in this, but in all honesty playoffs don't look good. Maybe broduer coming back can ignite something, at this rate were done. The Devils thoroughly outplayed the Rags and came up on the short side. And like me and a few other predicted, it was one of those game where we get a ton of chances, barely miss, shoot wide, or have amazing saves while the Rags get every little break Lou's stupidity and negligence led to this. Re signing dumbfvck Blowhan Suckberg and not lifting a finger to replace Sykora(20+ goals) and Parise (30+ goals) well here is your result. Hedberg gives up 2 softies and his idiotic stickhandling is solely responsible for all Rag goals. We get two on Lundqvist and honestly should've either won 2-1 or gone into OT 2-2. Yes Hedberg made a few saves but all of the goals he let up were inexcusable. All of them Get off your ass Lou and sit your useless captain down. Get Fayne back here. If Brodeur is good enough to backup he's good enough to start, and trade for at least a 20 goal guy to shore up the offense. What's Chico saying? Haha I'm sorry screw the defense and yes moose has played poor but you can not win games with 2 goals, WE CAN NOT FINISH...... We need to score 3 or more to win most games in the NHL, we have had problems since last season that and our PP. imagine we could put in 3 or more a game! Come on. The goals will come or they won't. But the effort is there. That's what I am looking for. Lundqvist made some fantastic saves. So did Moose. Getting bounces is one thing and in the playoffs last year we were often outright outplaying the opposition, especially in the flyers and ranger series. Effort and shots have been there for weeks but goals and goaltending hasn't. I'm all for effort and have been pretty patient with the team during this slide but enough is enough. The whole cannot finish is kinda overblown at this point too. Yes the team has struggled with goal scoring but they haven't been exactly lighting the lamp the past few seasons and even last year but still won games. And a reaction of many back to back bad decisions. The only "good move" was to bring back Poni when zubus wetn down ( which was actually making up for fvcking around for too long, s hould have just signed him... Now we have one less pick for a player we already had. Loktionov is obviously a steal but im not really sure Lou was aware of how great hed perform right away and that josefson would be so bad that he would have to be replaced, he was supposed to be in the AHL right now... Thats somewhat lucky for Lokti They did not replaced zach and sykora's production, they slapped a C on our worst player so hes anchored to the ice eventhough hes terrible. and they stick with a guy who keep on costing us games in net and they keep on putting goons on our lineup eventhough we cant score. Now we have guys like pesonen bringing down elias line and kovy pretty much played with everyone on the roster since we dont have real first line players other than elias and kovy. Excited for Thursday. Playing well? No, they played hard but they were incredibly DUMB. It's one thing to give effort, doesn't mean much if there isn't any brainpower involved. Moose was dumb as usual playing the puck, the defense was dumb with mistake after mistake (particularly Larsson, Zidlicky and Harrold to a lesser extent), and the forwards are retarded to begin with - shooting when they should pass and passing when they should shoot. That's what I'm basing it off of. I'm not talking out of my crack the way you all think I am. This team is garbage and doesn't deserve to make the playoffs at this rate. They have 3!!!! wins since Marty got hurt. Now Poni is injured... 18 games left to turn it around but with teams like the Rangers, Isles..not looking good. The Devils found a way to lose this game, just like they've lost to a million other bubble teams/other bad teams during this malaise. And anyone that thinks Marty's going to be the salve is going to be in for a nasty surprise when a rusty Marty can't get into gear quickly enough to save this season. When the season started, with Marty in net and Zubrus added, this team was just playing beyond their potential. In all honesty with this roster, 9th place is probably about the right spot for this roster. Losing Zach and Sykora was a big loss and we were teetering on the brink when we lost Zubes and Marty. Sal was one of the few guys out there tonight that wasn't a total retard. Other than one questionable pinch in the third (and that's going to sometimes happen when you're down a goal) I saw nothing wrong with his game.
