'7'
Lou's pull with the Yankees helped get this done. Will there be a designated home team? I mean the Rags are New York obviously, but that doesn't necessarily make it their home stadium. I mean I'd like the Devils to take home at least 50% of the massive gate. maxpower
They sent out a memo with STH renewals that they might play an off-site home game. Guess that's it. Doubt the Rangers are getting both games as home games.

jagknife
I hope we get some retro jerseys to wear for the game, it isn't a given that we will but obviously i'd love to see it. My guess is our Christmas Tree game is now in January instead of St. Patty's Day, since they killed it this year.

maxpower
I think it's funny that they gave Wang a game on a Wednesday to shut him up.
squishyx
Not a fan of 6 outdoor games in 1 year, I think it's going to drain a lot of enthusiasm for the games even if it's the Devils. If they had to expand on outdoor games it would have been nicer if they did 1 per division per year and rotate through the 7-8 teams. sundstrom
i like the idea of the "stadium series". this is also going to add a ton of revenue into the league - figure 60k avg per game tickets sold = 360,000 tickets - avg price $150 = $54MM with those 6 games alone just in ticket sales. "away" by uniform, undoubtedly major home ice advantage in reality. i like the idea of the "stadium series". this is also going to add a ton of revenue into the league - figure 60k avg per game tickets sold = 360,000 tickets - avg price $150 = $54MM with those 6 games alone just in ticket sales. Anything that makes the league more marketable is okay in my book.
JWomp
"away" by uniform, undoubtedly major home ice advantage in reality. Yeah, but the fact that the Devils are considered the "home" team is huge for our season ticket holders...it means we're all guaranteed seats. Very true. I won't be able to go, but it'll be awesome for everyone who can. Definitely will be jealous and watching from Pensacola.
