squishyx
oct 15th? thats pretty late opener isnt it? i cant remember the last time the NHL started mid october, does it have anything to do with the CBA uncertainty?
IAmCanadian27
oct 15th? thats pretty late opener isnt it? i cant remember the last time the NHL started mid october, does it have anything to do with the CBA uncertainty? It's probably because of the World Cup. It doesn't end until September 14th, so training camp and so on gets pushed back a couple days. insanity_gallops
14 back-to-back games. Yikes. Check out February -- 2 sets of back-to-back games with a day's rest. 4 games in 5 days.

Z-Man
You can probably throw this schedule out. I smell another shortened schedule only against teams in the East.
