I think we went down early but came back with a clarkson goal to win it in a shootout. lol can't believe that was only 3 years ago. Wore my jersey around town (it was the first one I ever owned, given to me by my girlfriend at the time), and got a few "Is that the team that's coming here?" comments. Me and my friend went to the the arena site, which was maybe 20% complete or so. I remember thinking "Don't even TELL me the Devils could be moving HERE!" And supposedly, if that had happened, then supposedly the Whalers might have moved into the Meadowlands to fill the void. The New Jersey Whalers?!? fvck that! Anyway, LGD!
