TheRedStorm Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) It's hard enough as a young player to develop as a defenseman at the NHL level, but when you are making fundamental mistakes it makes it doubly difficult to develop. He's got some bad habits and you've got to worry if it's instincts to play at the NHL level he's lacking. I've got more hope for Merrill in that regard.
