I'm just not convinced it's really - going to be effective? Is it really the right direction? Here it is: It makes me feel like their parts are all too disparate for their idea of what makes good hockey. Or like they are kind of trying to second guess what good hockey is without really thinking about how all things interact together as one solid team.... So is it a gutsy call or totally obtuse? We shall see I guess. ahhh --- I did not take into account his Capitals history either.... but.... it's the Capitals history, you know? I mean... it's like what shoudl have been good but never was ... I'm just sayin'.... if that's what they're going for.... Ahhh this is putting my insistence on continuity all ass-ended - why am I trying to ...like... make it all fit -- it is so disturbingly close to making some sort of sense but its' all wrong in my head right now... There is no reason to suggest it will be defense-only in Washington. He did that in Nashville because those were the tools available to him.
