msweet
http://www.nj.com/devils/index.ssf/2014/10/devils_martin_havlat_put_on_injured_reserve_reid_boucher_recalled.html NEWARK — Reid Boucher's call-up from the minors by the Devils does not mean he will play in Tuesday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Consol Energy Center. That will hinge on whether Mike Cammalleri, who was getting X-Rays on his jaw, is capable of playing. Cammalleri was elbowed in the jaw Friday night, but continued to feel pain during Saturday night's game in Ottawa, so the Devils asked for precautionary tests. Coach Pete DeBoer said he wasn't sure whether Cammalleri would travel with the team to Pittsburgh. Boucher will make the trip. If Boucher does get to play before he is returned to Albany, he knows he needs to play better than he has in the AHL so far this season. He has one goal in six games. http://www.nj.com/devils/index.ssf/2014/10/devils_winger_reid_bouchers_slow_start_in_minors_isnt_because_hes_sulking.html

Devilsfan118
I wouldn't say I'm surprised Boucher is slumping in the AHL - he's probably working through a bit of a letdown coming out of camp.
vadvlfan
all he needs to do is win a job! If you're mediocre, you'll sit. Make a difference Bouch!

Onddeck
If he needs a game let him have it instead of pushing it and making it worse if theres no structural damage, does it matter?
mfitz804
If there is structural damage, wire it up and wear a funny looking helmet.

Satans Hockey
does cammalleri have an injury history like havlat and clowe? Serious question, I don't really know. Hes played at least 60 games every season since becoming a full time nhler, minus the lockout year of course.
2ELIAS6
not having camm in the line up for tomorrow vs a powerful penguins team is going to be a big loss for us.. but even if he is not there does not mean it is soley because of his jaw he and his wife are expecting their second child
Colorado Rockies 1976
does cammalleri have an injury history like havlat and clowe? Serious question, I don't really know. In four out of the last seven seasons, he's missed 15-19 games in each of those four seasons.
Mike Brown
Cammalleri is the kind of player I envision Boucher of being. I hope Reid gets real top 6 minutes. Also hope Cammy isn't out for too long.
MadDog2020
Maybe Boucher can do what Henrique did three years ago and force them to keep him up here for good. Here's hoping.

DJ Eco
The good news is these aren't serious injuries. I'm not worried about the long-term for now. Can't imagine Cammalleri missing more than another game at most.

"Lower body injury" for them can mean anything between a Charley horse to missing a leg. Doesn't sound like Cammy's injury is bad, but damn I would be nervous if he starts missing more than 2 games.... Devils need his offense in the worst way.
