Important game tonight as a win to start the 4 road games in 5 games would be helpful.

We know St. Louis is a tough team, we saw it on Tuesday.  TG reporting that Stastny WILL be in the lineup for the Blues tonight centering Steen and Lindstrom and that Jake Allen will once again be between the pipes.

I hope we can play like we did on Tuesday as many will argue it was the strongest we've looked thus far.  Control the tempo.

damn.. losing one of the few guys on the devils who ISN'T expected to miss time hurts.. especially when NJ is already depleted with injuries, beginning a road trip, and playing the Blues tonight.

per Lou it's a lower-body injury but he hopes he won't be out too long (take it for what its worth)

per TG, Devils lines this morning:

Clowe-Zajac-Jagr

Zubrus-Elias-Ryder

Brunner-Josefson-Bernier

Ruutu-Gionta-Sislo

Greene-Severson

Sal-Zids

Gelly-Larsson

Schneids

Lou also said it's possible Tootoo will be activated off IR today, testing him out during the morning skate

fight hard tonight boys, its gonna be a tough one

We don't have one good line right now.

Also I'm really surprised that the young kids never get more than a shift or 2 with the jagr line when he mixes things up, but zubrus will get countless games and that line will fail to produce. It is mind boggling.

Pete expects immediate and constant results from rookies or they are gone, but If you have been in the NHL for 25 years and are slow and old, you get a pass.
