Mike Brown
Even with all the bad things going on with the team, that doesn't mean we can't discuss the good things. Henrique is having a monster offensive year. Cammalleri has been a stud. The powerplay has been excellent. Our young defensemen have been solid. Jagr has been good. Ruutu has been good. Colorado Rockies 1976
Ruutu has been better than expected. Cam is off to a very nice start indeed (he won't keep scoring at that pace though). Everything else in the original post is exaggerated.

It's a pace of around 70 points. I expect him to break 60 points. PP is 7th in the league. Edited November 29, 2014 by Mike Brown

Mike Brown
Everything else. Like what? Henrique having his best offensive season of his career? Our powerplay being 7th in the league? Jagr once again leading the team in points? Severson and Larsson having solid seasons?
Muevelos
Our pp is top ten. We can't ask for more then that, that's not exaggerated.

JJ might possibly have a career as a 3rd line center too, hurray!
Colorado Rockies 1976
Henrique's numbers look nice from a quick-glance standpoint, but 17 GP don't make a season. Power play had been slowing up until last night, but it's been somewhere between good and very good overall. Jagr is leading a bad offensive team in points...whoopdee-damn-do. He's clearly not what he was last year...unfortunately, the Devils were banking on him (and Elias) to play to their 2013-14 levels. The young defensemen are playing like young defensemen...some good moments, some bad. Gelinas is clearly having a rough go of it. Severson slowed up after a great beginning (to be expected). Merrill got hurt, Larsson has at least played well enough to stay in the lineup. Overall (and in your OP you didn't name two defensemen specifically) they've played about as I would expect a gaggle of young defensemen to play. They've been a mixed bag. True, but considering he's been a slow starter, Henrique's numbers are refreshing to see. The powerplay went through a dry spell, like all powerplays do. Despite that, it's operating at a 21.7% clip. Jagr will probably finish with 50ish points. Sure it's not an amazing amount, but for a 42 year old, that's pretty good. Other than Gelinas, all of the young d-men have been good. Merrill has been injured, but you can't ask for much more from Larsson, Severson, and Hegelson.
Louismydad
Coaching staff suck. Zubrus doesn't belong on a NHL roster zubrus is a great 4th liner, the coaching staff gives him more than he can handle
Muevelos
If Jagr hits 50 points you all should be jumping up ans fkin down, we shouldn't have to rely on a 42 year old, so anything he does is good. He's still top puck possession. It's like we take him for granted now.
caron14
Love josefson plays. I think he qould be part of our team for a ling time as a third liner.
