Zubie#8
I was debating to put this in the Locker Room section but I decided on here. For me Stuart Scott was a staple every night when I was a kid growing up. Even though SportsCenter did not show a lot of hockey highlights I always enjoyed it because of Stuart. The entire sports world lost a great anchor and an even greater man today. He battled cancer for seven years. He will be missed. Booya. http://youtu.be/5eILHJCJq30 Edited January 5, 2015 by Zubie#

EdgeControl
he did pretty darn good for a googlie eyed black kid!!!! was instrumental in changing the face of broadcasting, kept his cancer fight seperate from his work, and fought it every inch for his daughters...well done
Jerrydevil
I didn't like his shtick but I respect the impact he had on ESPN and admire him for fighting cancer for as long as he did. RIP.
thefiestygoat
RIP Pretty much the reason I watched SportsCenter when I was younger. My friends and I still use his catch phrases in our pick up games to this day.
Derek21
It's so sad. Stuart Scott brought enthusiasm and passion to SC. Feel for his daughters and family. He was incredibly brave in his fight. fvck cancer! Booyah! RIP Stuart Scott
mouse
I caught the tail end of Olbermann and Patrick, but Scott and Eisen were the first Sportscenter team I really watched. They're still the gold standard to me. Loved Stu's ability to balance the fun catch phrase stuff with a ridiculous a,out of knowledge. Aside from that, he's one of those guys I never met, but felt like I knew, and really liked. Doc's the same way. Losing him hurts in a different way than most celebrities. Especially since he's so young. RIP to a great one.
