NJDevs4978
Cespedes? Twitter rumor is he was flexing his left arm/shoulder his last AB...if that's true the six-day break just became more important to get now. capo
Perfect example of a typical Flores at bat. Except he actually walks... Edited October 22, 2015 by capo
'7'
crap. Hope it is just precautionary. With this kind of lead I guess you can pull him. Doesnt *seem* like anything serious

NJDevs4978
Well they were doing a pretty good job of keeping focused till that lol. Still Matz has been dealing so far.

Not a good injury. 3 game lead 6 run lead in clincher might just be precaution.

At least Terry'll probably give some form of an update in the thirty-second interview TBS has right about soon.
NJDevs4978
Apparently the Internet 'experts' nailed this one....shoulder soreness for Cespedes. Who knows how long he's had it for though. Edited October 22, 2015 by NJDevs4978

NJDevs4978
So apparently Cespedes couldn't lift his left shoulder per TC...oh joy. Hopefully it's just a pinched nerve.

Colorado Rockies 1976
Looks like Duda could've gone home on that...oh well. Nice job to get out of that inning without it blowing up. NJDevs4978
Thank god David speared that one otherwise this inning could have gotten out of hand. At least the damage was limited.

capo
This has been the one problem with all the young guy and to a lesser extent Harvey, they try to pitch to every hitter like their Babe Ruth instead of just going after guys and they run into innings like this. I put a lot of this on TdA. A veteran catcher would really be great for a young pitching staff. TdA is learning too but damn.

Well Matz ain't quite on the level of the other three yet (without their experience either), and he's had a weird season with the injuries too. I'd take a 5/6 IP game, 1 ER from our '#4 starter', better than anyone else's fourth starter in the series. Heck I'd take all their performances thus far in the series and the playoffs, hard to argue with any of them. Now, that's how you do it right there to Jackson. With a 6 run lead you just gotta pound the strike zone. If some Jacks a solo shot so what... NJDevs4978
Eh hate to take him out now but with a second straight pressure inning I'd rather have Colon keep it at 6-1. Stupid wind-blown hit, Matz would have been out of the fifth easy with possibly another inning.
