'7'
Umps load the bases. Better throw the ball through a keyhole here Thor otherwise it's strike
NJDevs4978
Whew, well gotta hand it to Thor he gritted out that one despite a million factors converging against him Now hopefully this pen can go 1-1.2 innings and get it to Familia. '7'
Thank god. 9 outs to go. Have no clue how we get them but...we need some offense to bolster this lead
capo
That guy is our ace. He's ridiculous! And will only get better. I guarantee he wins 20 next year as long as the Mets field a decent line up.
NJDevs4978
Now for the love of god can we get AT LEAST one insurance run?
NJDevs4978
Sadly Lagares is better offensively than Conforto at this point, and Lagares isn't even THIS good offensively. Come on Wilmer, let's at least give Uribe a chance to hit in a big spot. Edited October 31, 2015 by NJDevs4978

'7'
A rare Royals miscue...wright HAS TO HAS TO HAS TO. Get at least 1 home here. Sac fly. Get it done somehow. Don't care how. Get us up 4 runs.

NJDevs4978
Now put him in for wright 4 RBI's tonight Good to make those bas*ards pay for their mistakes!
'7'
Probably the single most shining moment in Wrights career. And congrats to him. He did comme up big.
NJDevs4978
And now we ARE getting to their bullpen finally. Not Wade Davis but we've proved the rest of them are human at least.

NJDevs4978
Boy who saw THIS coming when we were 5-3 up a half hour ago with Royals bases loaded? Edited October 31, 2015 by NJDevs4978
capo
Umps load the bases. Better throw the ball through a keyhole here Thor otherwise it's strike 1 Plate ump cost Thor 30 extra pitches. That's how good he was in this game.
'7'
He was. This was a ridiculous zone and the umps put up at least 2 runs for KC...despite all that Thor was poised, had good movement on his heater, had good control, overcame adversity. And just flat out gritted his way through this game If that's Harvey...I'm not so sure he gets out of it with only 3 runs of damage
capo
Do we even really need umpires anymore? Why can't we just have the guy at each bag just report what the computer says?
NJDevs4978
And Reed justifying my faith in him again...nice drama-free inning. Of course you can't put him in with runners on but with bases empty he'll do the job far more often than not. capo
Boy, Duda sucks at first. I mean he's not Piazza over there but damn he does it ugly.
'7'
If nobody is on base...not a bad guy to bring in. He doesnt do well with chaos around him, but give Reed a clean inning and he'll do the job more often than not.

And at Reynolds now saying the first pitch 'sent a message' when he was saying a few innings ago it woke the Royals up. Nice to change the narrative to fit the situation.
