SterioDesign
They cancelled the fan fest due to "inclement weather." My ass, but it's still probably for the best. I definitely cannot bring myself to watch tonight, and you couldn't pay me to go. Here's to hoping that ship gets righted sooner rather than later. The pittsburgh Ottawa game is gonna be a lot of fun to watch anyway

Maybe it's worse in Newark.
MadDog2020
I rarely get into ribbing anymore. The main problem is that (as I know from experience) it just seems to escalate too damned quickly these days...next thing you know, that guy you thought could take a joke is now charging you and throwing punches. Way too much fighting going on over sporting events that, much as we enjoy watching, don't have much effect on our day-to-day existence. Like when Flyer fans take the "We're the Broad Street Bullies, so when you come into our building wearing our opponents' jersey, we're entitled to sucker-punch you" approach. And now of course, there's that odd chance you might get stabbed. In a perfect world, sure, you should be able to bust balls (and have yours busted) without it getting out of control, but a lot of people seem to have very short fuses these days. One word: alcohol. You are right in that it escalates quickly. I wouldn't be aggressive with it, but I wouldn't hesitate to give them quick reminders about how much their team sucks. No cursing or anything, just reminders. Also I forgot to think that back in 98-2004, social media didn't really exist for people to post nonsense about another team, so everyone including me was less exposed to it. Now I am constantly bombarded on my FB and twitter about how bad the Devils are so that plays a big role in that.
StarDew
Somebody needs to make sure Kreider is kept in check. He runs our goalie then knock his lights out and I mean out! That kid needs a lesson or two or three or four.

Neb00rs
Today is pretty much Fraser's last chance of demonstrating that he serves even the slightest purpose on our team. He better just be throwing the body everywhere.

jagknife
I literally have one Rangers fan friend, i guess now he's more an acquantence, who is a pain in the ass about his over the top Ranger homerism and fanfare for even the most menial accomplishments. The rest of my friends, including coworkers, give a light hearted rib here and there but never anything as obnoxious as that one clown. Sadly they, like #32, are the minority I hope we win tonight, Kreider gets hurt, and that's about it. ...we losing yet?

Satans Hockey
Can I have a refund for tonight's game? That should be our reward for dealing with this. This team is a fvcking joke. Lou must go.

slasher72
Here's my prediction for next year: Fraser, Zubrus, Gelinas, and Sal return. Elias gets extended. And Lou decides he can't find a suitable coach and elects to stay behind the bench the entire season. Lol.
MadDog2020
How come Mark Fraser is on the ice every time I turn around? I mean, why? SterioDesign
I dont blame this team for those efforts. Honestly why would they give their 100% and not check out? Its a joke behind the bench, they have a sh!t roster, they are not making the playoff, their pride is obviously already shattered (long ago), not a lot of them are playing for a contract... i mean... where are they supposed to get their drive? Guys like Larsson, Severson, Merril, Schneider, Henrique are always doing their best as young guys but other than that?
