Lou was a lil screwed,in that he inadvertently turned the organization into a "good ole boy network" giving vets jobs etc. And Lou couldn't at this point in time do anything about Conte, they're like brothers. Shero will need to dismantle/revamp our scouting dept. This would've been too painful for Lou. in a way, Shero will save Lou's ass. This draft will tell me a lot about the direction of this team. We would run Nugent-Hopkins, ROR, and Zajac down the middle for the forseeable future. Then slot Quenneville in there in a few years. Obvious wishful thinking but its fun to think about it! Wonder what it will take to get O'Reilly and the 10th overall from the Avs. It would be more than my offer. I saw people talking about this on reddit If we trade #6, we MUST get back a first this year. Unfortunately, I don't think #6 is going to get us both ROR and the 10th.
