dmann422
Great trade by Columbus... Very confusing for Chicago because it doesn't even provide cap relief as anisimov makes 3.2 mil this year... They must be making another move.

They must be making another move. I suspect they might think they can find a taker for Bickell. Dano essentially takes Saad spot. Anisimov takes Richards spot. No plans to bring Vermette back. Sounds like Oduya is a goner from there however. Looks like the threat of an offer sheet and inability to move Sharp for a reasonable return. RizzMB30
There is a lot of movement from around the league this summer it seems. That is a good trade for both sides. Chicago might have to wait a year or two to see real returns, but they still need to move one of Anisimov, Morin, or Tropp. See, when the Devils were in cap trouble similar to this with the Kovy deal, we couldn't find a trade partner to save our lives. I hope Chicago can't figure this cap situation out.
RizzMB30
And an even bigger question. Who is the flying fvck would have thought that Boston would give up a future 3rd rounder for ZAC RINALDO!?!? Boston is going down the tubes.
sokar
I am not sure if this was posted yet but Jets re-signed Drew Stafford to a two-year, $8.7 million deal
RizzMB30
I am not sure if this was posted yet but Jets re-signed Drew Stafford to a two-year, $8.7 million deal Confirmed on NHL.com. I would have brought Stafford here for that price. Roughly 4.3 million/year if I'm not mistaken.

Devs3cups
I feel like tomorrow is going to be an interesting day.I think NJ is going to be pretty active, especially for a veteran d-man to complete our core and help the younger guys. HOLLYWOOD
2015-16 cap space management and fear of offers sure is playing havoc with clubs So looks like Frolik & Belesky are looking for $4+ mil/yr

Chuck the Duck
Wow! Didn't see that coming as I thought Chicago would move heaven and earth to keep Saad. The threat of offer sheeting RFA seems very real this year, unlike years past. It has to be due to the atrocious UFA crop.
Muevelos
Anyone clarify but I heard that Boston is going to let Bartowski( how ever spelled ) hit the market, he'l intrigues me. If the price is right I'd take a chance on him!
