Ryder and Brunner ultimately didn't work out but that would be the type of player/deal I think we should be looking at as a temporary fix given the roster situation. I can't imagine Dallas is going to make their run with a Niemi-Lehtonen tandem, especially when they might have the best offense and best top line in the league right now. Martin certainly is on the wrong side of his career but he still can play a full season of 20+ minutes a night as a solid d-man.
