Also I can't believe you're still going on about Zach 3 and a half years later. dude how many times im gonna have to repeat that it was mostly about zajac needing players to make him better. I get that someone would jump to that conclusion but that's not at all the point of what i said. I could have said Kovalchuk. no one brought up his contract or wtv. All i said is that sometimes guys are pinned as "overpaid" but sometimes it's worth it if they make other players better. Parise was a good example that we all know about. If I wanted to chase a good pipe dream it would be giving Stamkos 11 million for 6 years if he doesn't get re-signed by the offseason. We're not gonna use it anyway, and if Austin Matthews can play right away and Zacha skates next year, we might not be the most boring fvcking team on the planet If he was available and they didn't try, that would be absurd.
