Aitchmack
After watching the half hearted performances of the last couple of seasons I really wasn't expecting much from this season. But I have to say I'm really enjoying it. Hynes really has to take a lot of credit for organising this team so well & motivating them. Great win today even though the performance wasn't as good as it has been previously. LGD.

Chuck the Duck
2 points for Schneider. He was great. Nice crowd today. .Do you mean nice crowd as in the size of it, or the energy of the crowd. I wasn't there, but the announced attendance was less than 12,000, which is horrible IMO.

newjerseydamo
Farnham = Tasmanian devil....... lol Dano Probably a reference to a popular Aussie singer in the 80s and 90s called John Farnham.. Only us Aussies would get the reference
BostonNala370
JJ has been great in SO why can't he do the same 5 on 5? Take the two points anytime. I never thought Gelinas should make the team and he is proving me correct.

DJ Eco
Schneider looks shaky right now, but he started off slow last year too, so I'm not worried yet. Pretty harsh; one bad goal in 9 games. And absolute lights-out play in most of those 9 games. Also, he's seeing the shootout chances better and puts us in a better spot early in the shootouts we've done. First shootout chance was always his Achilles Heel last year.
EdgeControl
JJ has been great in SO why can't he do the same 5 on 5? JJ can beat anyone 5 v 5 except the goalie..the dude is flashing his blades, can possess and beat his man
nessus
He never shoots though, and his shot isn't even bad. Hopefully the coaches are working on that.

RizzMB30
I do think the younger D-men who don't have the experience of Larsson are starting to show their age a little bit. The idea that they are experiencing their growing pains and such. It seems like the growing pains are VERY hit or miss with Severson, Merril, Gelinas. DJ Eco
He gave up an awful goal in Philly. It deflected off Gionta; first Gionta goal of the season and it's against ourselves.
EdgeControl
schnieds seems to have troubles with those over the left shoulders from the butterfly. he had it last year but corrected it. he needs to borrow the kings shoulder pads
Beezer34
I wasn't there, but the announced attendance was less than 12,000 which is horrible IMO. The Mets just got done playing World Series games into the month of November.. something they haven't done in 15 years. This is a huge part why the attendance has been poor thus-far. Even the iles (who finished the season at 95% capacity last year) are at 75% capacity this season, barely averaging 12k, in an arena that holds nearly 16k. Alot of Met fans share devs\iles ties. Shoot, I know several Met fans that tell me: "I haven't really even gotten into football yet, let alone hockey" --I wouldn't get overly concerned with the attendance over these next two months. Between the weather and the holidays, the Devils rarely have good numbers for November & December.
BlueSkirt
has there been any kind of update on elias? If Lou were still here then I'd think he's being "Matvichuk"-ed.... It seems like his knee is really messed-up and/or it takes a 39-year old very long to heal.

Elias is hardly the player that Matvichuk was when it happened, he has been a career Devil that has been so at an extremely high level and we are no where near cap hell. Can't it just be that Elias has a bad knee instead of bashing Lou some more?

mfitz804
The Islanders attendance has more to do with the Barclays being sh!t then the mets games. And the fact that a lot of their fans in Long Island are pissed and don't want to travel to Brooklyn. Not saying all of them, but I have no problem believing that a couple thousand people who would go to a bunch of games if they were close by might only go to one or two now. And the Mets didn't take away attendance from the Devils. Sucking donkey balls the past two years did.

2ELIAS6
theyre going to have to pick it up and hold it together for a full 60 minutes tomorrow if they want a chance to earn 2 points... they completely fell off in the 3rd period last game. DJ Eco
So are we invading Barclays tomorrow or what? I'll be there, Section 222, Row 18. I know there are a decent amount of Devils fans checking out that corner (221-222); there are a lot on StubHub, for cheap, and there's no obstructed view.
