'7' Posted January 4, 2017 Share Posted January 4, 2017 Yea that pretty much is a huge strike against O'Brien if he was the one pushing for the terrible Osweiler. Nothing about him ever looked like an NFL QB. I hate his arm motion when throwing...this big slow wind-up and release is a major red flag. Despite that O'Brien has done a nice job with them with some middling/poor QB's over the past 3 years as well as a ton of injuries on O and D. They've always seemed to be a very patchwork team. NJDevs4978 Posted January 4, 2017 Author Share Posted January 4, 2017 (edited) If anything I heard the opposite re: Osweiler, that O'Brien didn't even meet Osweiler in person before they signed him. Which sort of suggests it was done above him. I'm sure he did want better QB's than the dreck he had last year though. Also not insignifgicant - If TT's $15 mm option vests/is picked up, (best I can tell) Buffalo is functionally cap-strapped before re-signing anyone. His two drafts have been just as poor. Hackenberg couldn't get on the field as a 4th stringer.. who's owner didn't even refute the ocean comment. Devin Smith, Lorenzo Mauldin, Bryce Petty, Leo Williams FELL to the Jets, so I'm not going to stand up and cheer for the guy for that. Honestly.. stand back and look at the whole body of work. What the fvck has he done these last two years?? So let Woody put a gun to his head and have him put the latte down, roll up his sleeves, pick of the phone and fix this sh!t. Because I have no problem getting rid of the both of these two clowns after this season, if the same sh!t product returns to the field.
