sundstrom Posted November 7, 2016 Share Posted November 7, 2016 it's nice that he broke through - two of those goals were absolute snipes and he was still getting shots fairly consistently. i'm hoping the rest of his game is coming around. he's starting to look a bit stronger on the puck. perhaps he didn't trust his wrist early on. I think if they make the playoffs this season, they're really doing it a year ahead of schedule. So yeah, no way the Devils could ever have afforded to bench Cam (it was way too early for that anyway, for many reasons)...with a guy like him, all you can do is hope he has a nice little 7 goals-in-10 games kind of run now...and further hope he has a 25+ goal, 70+ GP season in him. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I also came to this thread expecting to see Nala suggesting we trade cammy right now since his value should be astronomical. I was disappointed... If that doesn't make it obvious that it is too soon to be concerned, I don't know what does. I am more concerned about the fact that Cammalleri, Henrique, and Palmeri are all kind of blah so far, coupled with the fact that we have guys like Kalinin, Fiddler, DSP, and Josefson who you already know are not going to score. That being the case, Cammalleri, Henrique, and Palmeri all being blah, plus Taylor Hall not having scored in a while, are all very very bad.
