Jerzey
I wonder when and where we'll see Quenneville in NJ. We don't really need a 3c but I would think that's where he lands. Good to see him make a good transition to the pros though.

nessus
Thanks fiesty! It's good to see Quenneville putting up points like that in his first year as a pro! Hopefully he's the real deal. Big opportunity for Blackwood to be the starter in Albany while Wedge is out. Let's hope he can get some good games in.

thefiestygoat
I'm going to try to get back to updating this thread regularly. AHL 1/27 Albany defeated Rochester 2-1. Auvitu had 7 shots followed by Mozik with 5 as the Devils outshot the Americans 36-19. Mackenzie Blackwood made 18 saves. Albany went 1/1 on the PP and 2/2 on the PK. Here is the gamesheet. Notes: - Albany has a 51.69 Shots For%, 100.43 All-Situation PDO, 18.03 PP%, and a 84.04 PK%.
Triumph
Nice. I don't post in here enough either. That Auvitu goal around 2 minutes is something else - he gets a legitimate breakaway 5 on 5 (he's not coming out of the penalty box, Rochester wasn't caught on a change of lines) and scores on it. I can't think of the last time I saw something like that in the NHL, a d man being 1 on the goalie in a spot like that where it's the right play.
