msweet
It's about time .. the Devils have placed Russian forward Sergey Kalinin, who turns 26 on March 17 and is on a one-year, $800,000 deal and is a pending restricted free agent, on waivers today. Kalinin, who has been centering the fourth line since Vern Fiddler was traded to the Predators on Feb. 4, has two goals and two assists in 42 games in his second NHL season. Prior to that, Kalinin played five seasons for Omsk Avangard (KHL). Kalinin logged 12:03 in Thursday’s 3-0 loss to the visiting Senators, including 1:31 on the penalty kill. http://www.northjersey.com/story/sports/nhl/devils/fireandice/2017/02/17/devils-place-kalinin-waivers/98045926/

NJDevils1214
He had like 3 good chances to score last night early on and couldn't manage. I liked him at first too, he brought some size up front. He just hasn't been able to do much good sadly.
MadDog2020
Hopefully he'll be sent to Albany after he isn't claimed.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2ELIAS6
no one is going to claim him, he's junk.
EZ76
Till we don't have a decent coach, it's hard to judge any player, who's good or bad. Maybe Sergey is bad. But Hynes isn't an NHL level coach. With all respect, but he's to unexperienced for this league. We need another coach
msweet
Not working hard, not using the body, not scoring, not going to be on a NHL roster.
vadvlfan
You might be surprised, somebody else just might see value there. Blender played 5 games, hasn't scored. DSP hasn't made anything happen.
NJDfan1711
Thank fvcking God. I actually meant to say this earlier after I saw him on the ice a little bit yesterday -- he just isn't doing anything out there, and it would be much better to have Blandisi up and getting chances. Devilsfan118
Another in a long list of "meh" Devils who contribute very little to the team and will disappear into anonymity. Had hopes he'd pan into a 3rd liner at some point, had the size and speed.
mfitz804
Great move. He sucks. Last night I was watching him and he totally skates like he took a dump in his pants.

Rather have a younger more talented player playing
