Fun game to be at, and I was proud of the Devils effort. It is just a shame that it can get sabotaged by essentially two players.    Lovejoy - I'm sorry but he fvcking sucks. He is a net neg

Schneider is getting buried for soft goals because his offense almost never helps him out.  Yeah, that last one by Zibanejad sucks, but it's not some floater from the blueline, Zibanejad was in alone

What a third !

If that doesn't summarize this season I don't know what does.

Palms has a chance for a magical moment in OT, potting the trick, and instead misses twice.

And then the Rags break back and Cory lets in a softie.

fvck this season man.

Yea it was a foregone conclusion they'd lose in OT. But Schneider needs to save the Clendening shot. He's prone to those late game goals.

Schneider had an up and down game. But he still worries me late game and OT (and shootouts) overall can't pin it all on him his 2nd period was great. Really great

Dude did you see the OT goal? Far worse than the Clendening goal.

I turned it off before OT because I didn't want to see the Rangers celebrate winning our building as I knew would happen and did.

I'm sure it was a sh!tshow goal. I've seen those from Cory at inopportune times after great games.

That's why...hate to say it...he's got some Hextall in him.

I was just gonna post that I don't think Corey will ever be a big time playoff goalie if we ever actually make the playoffs with him. He really lets in bad goals at the worst times and I've about had it.

RECAP

  • Another game where point shots really hurt us.
  • No matter how many times they get burned by them, they always seem to allow them at will.
  • Otherwise, this was a great effort.
  • The Rangers are going nowhere with that defense and system.
  • Their d-zone system is probably even worse than ours.
  • Quincey was great tonight, and I hope our other d-men follow his lead from tonight.

EVEN STRENGTH POSSESSION

  • CF: 55 to 55, 50%
  • FF: 49 to 42, 53.85%
  • SF: 37 to 35, 51.39%

The entire team is prone to blowing leads late in the game one way on another. It's in their minds.
