Chimaira_Devil_#9
I remember (or at least I think I do) in one of Lou's many stints as Coach seeing a picture of him taking practice and he is on the ice wearing a pair of 100 year old skates and a wooden stick. That was strange yet in a way totally expected.

And on that note...a couple of signs I saw in the stands during Games 3 and 4 of the 1995 SCF: "Nashville already has enough people without teeth" "Hey McMullen, don't be a Nash-hole, keep the Devils in NJ" (this guy was in my section several rows behind me...security made him put the sign down...boooooooooo)

Will never forget that parade or that sign. We decided to go last minute, I called out sick from work and we got there late. Everything was so disorganized, nobody knew where to go, but where we wound up was front row of the crowd along where the cars were driving. There were no barricades, no nothing. High fived every player on our side, and some of the wives when the player's weren't. I remember screaming like a maniac for every player that came by, and then doing the same for Bruce Driver's wife ("Yeaaaaah!!!! Mrs. Driver!!!!!! How are you!!!!!!") , and she looked mildly entertained by my antics. Such a good time, and I would add, a much closer-up experience than if it had been a real parade.
