So what better time to start up a thread to see who's coming back?? Probably the usual cast of characters for the most entertaining psuedo-live draft on the planet!!! The general plan here is to have this period between now and August to allow for rule and scoring changes, suggestions and votes and all that.....and start the draft on August 21 (don't blame me, Gen Con runs late this year and I'm not dealing with this during my ONE week of vacation all year round).....17 days.....17 rounds....let's GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Nothing to discuss until the draft order (and for me nothing till the draft since I have a no brainer keeper) except: B. There does need to be a roll call to make sure everyone is doing this again. Manta, Henriqued, Masked, RSC, Laflamne and Clown haven't logged into the board in months. Price of the Devils being a perpetual loser - though at least CRASHER can wrangle down the latter two easily. NJDevs4978 Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 (edited) lol I completely forgot Masked actually won last year till I saw the gold trophy next to his team name (only remembered CRASHER's 12-1 that went splat in the playoffs ) Not that I was closely paying attention after elimination with two straight seasons of early exits after a bunch of playoff years, though missing last year was a bit of a fluke with the second highest scoring team. Admittedly it's a little hard for me to get juiced up this fantasy season both with the Jets' awfulness and the feeling of 'been there, done that' in FF after winning a league three straight years - here twice, then my other main league two years ago, and also winning a few bucks the only time I tried a money league last year. It's farcically easy to renew and then forget/not care about it months in advance. Especially since it was an auto-renew, I don't remember actually doing anything to reactivate being in the league. NJDevs4978 Posted August 13, 2017 Share Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) I count five stragglers lol...but I don't think PM's going to work on RSC or Henriqued since they haven't actually logged into the board for a while - RSC since last September, Henriqued since March - unless they still somehow have e-mail notifications set to ping when they get a PM. DevsMJ has been lurking on the board but hasn't checked in here for whatever reason (he always seems to have one foot in and one foot out anyway). Manta and Masked haven't been around the board in a while either, if the draft loses them that's 85% of the reason for trash talking out the window.
